Benefiting: THE LANCASTER MUSEUM OF ART

Join the Lancaster Museum of Art in celebrating America ’s legacy to the automotive world, featuring “Tri-Chevrolets” 1955-56-57 vehicles at Artistry in Motion 2008. Proceeds from the event support the Museum’s exhibit and education programs for children.

The beautiful grounds of Bridge Acres Stables, 1470 Hunsicker Road , Lancaster , will provide the backdrop as you listen to jazz, and stroll amid classic motor vehicles, including some of the finest examples of this year’s featured vehicle.

Artistry in Motion, 2008 Vintage Tour & Show, is open to most pre-1974 non-modified vehicles. The Chevrolet automobile will be the featured marque, although other makes and models are encouraged to participate. The Tour consists of vintage vehicles (automobiles only) assembling at the High Pavilion, Greenfield Corporate Center, Lancaster at 9am. From there the exquisite vehicles will tour 35 miles to their final destination, Bridge Acres Stable, along the Conestoga River. At Bridge Acres, the touring participants will join non-touring show cars and the motorcycles for the rest of the festivities.

The grounds at Bridge Acres Stable, 1470 Hunsicker Road , will open to the public at Noon . The festivities, including a parade of award winners, judging of tour and show cars and music continue through the afternoon. General admission for ages 5 and up is $10. Children under 5 are admitted free. The Gourmet Luncheon is $55 per person including admission, and reservations must be received by April 26.
